Every second Saturday, Walters Green Clinical Psychology Practice offers psychometric t esting of Cognitive Functions, and psychological treatment for school-aged children. The attending clinicians are David Irving and Dr Sarah Stirling who have a strong interest in working with children and adolescents.
The testing sessions will include an initial intake interview to collect background information and details of the presenting problem, followed by testing (usually around 3-4 hours) and feedback session and report.
Target problems include:
- learning disabilities
- attention difficulties (i.e., ADD/ADHD)
- intellectual disability.
Cognitive assessments with a descriptive report include (with fees):
- IQ testing (WISC or The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children): $800
- Learning disability assessme
nt (WISC + WIAT or Wechsler Individual Achievement Test): $1050 - Memory assessment (WISC + CMS or Children’s Memory Scale): $1050
Assessments will be conducted every second Saturday morning at our Clayfield Practice. No referral is required.
